Measured Habitat is an independently operated publication focused on practical household resource decisions.
Public identity
“Measured Habitat” is the public-facing publisher and site-author label. It is not presented as a corporation, editorial team, laboratory, engineering practice, legal practice, medical provider, or licensed safety authority. The site does not publish a synthetic person, invented biography, credentials, years of experience, or testing history.
The site owner is accountable for approving scope, maintaining source records, reviewing corrections, and deciding what may be published. The owner’s private account details are not part of the public identity.
Current scope
The first public pilot covers renter backup-power readiness before shopping. Product recommendations, price tracking, affiliate links, hands-on tests, calculators, and broader home-energy or lower-waste clusters remain outside the pilot unless separately approved.
Evidence and limitations
The publication distinguishes source-reported facts, attributed manufacturer claims, third-party tests, user-reported patterns, models, measurements, controlled tests, editorial synthesis, conflicts, and unknowns. An evidence label never removes the need to read the exact limitations.
