Scope of this notice
This notice describes the limited data handling used by the first Measured Habitat public pilot. It is an operational description, not a claim that every possible state, federal, or international legal requirement has been reviewed.
No analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, accounts, or newsletter
The pilot does not intentionally enable analytics, advertising pixels, affiliate tracking, newsletter signup, public comments, user accounts, payments, or lead generation. The site remains noindex during the pilot.
Hosting and technical logs
The WordPress site and its hosting infrastructure may process technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, error information, and security or access logs. Exact host-level retention and infrastructure details depend on the active hosting configuration.
Contact and correction forms
When a visitor submits a contact or correction form, the site processes the name, email address, subject, message, submission purpose, and technical information required to transmit and secure the request. The release plugin sends the message to the site’s private WordPress administration mailbox and does not intentionally save the message in the public WordPress database.
The receiving mailbox and hosting/email infrastructure may retain the message until the site owner deletes it. Messages are used to respond, investigate corrections, handle privacy or accessibility requests, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary operational records.
Cookies and local storage
The pilot does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress, the host, caching, security, or administrator sessions may use technical cookies or storage necessary to operate or secure the site. Public behavior must be rechecked after every material plugin, theme, hosting, form, or consent change.
